2020 has been a tough year for all of us, from bushfire to flood and storms and then, of course, no one evading the grasps of COVID -19. On Thursday 10 September, LEAD will be getting behind R U OK Day. Intended to inspire and empower Australians to connect with people in the community they may have concerns about, encouraging them to seek further help and to follow up to ensure support is being provided. The day will bring awareness to the importance of staying connected, especially during these challenging times.

Asking R U OK can truly change a life – You don’t have to be an expert to reach out, just a good friend and a great listener.

To connect effectively and make a difference you must start by looking after your own self, to boost your mental, emotional health and wellbeing,

LEAD recognises the importance of self-care, which is why we have extended the special price for our Self-Care for Family Support & Community Workers eLearning course, still only $1.00!
