This half-day Online Workshop will explore home visiting as a family work strategy, with a focus on developing positive relationships and implementing safe home visiting practices. Participants will take a proactive approach to identify and managing risks, using a range of tools including organisational resources, risk assessment, hazard identification and environmental awareness.
The Workshop will also help you to develop strategies to identify and respond to challenging behaviours and explore how to de-escalate situations that may arise with clients when ‘home visiting’.

Bronwen Elliott has many years of experience working with families, children and young people and assisting the agencies that work with them. Bronwen’s interests include promoting strengths, understanding self-protective strategies and identifying effective ways to engage family members and encourage the challenge of change.
