This eLearning course aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills in noticing and identifying changes in children/families experiencing challenging life circumstances at an early stage. It includes strategies and tools that can be used to guide workers (in TEI Services) working with children and families when taking those first steps towards greater collaboration and integration across the services sector.

This interactive one-and-a-half-hour course, will:

• increase knowledge of family centred practice and skills you need to be able to identify vulnerable children/families;
• increase awareness of contexts of vulnerability and factors that contribute to child & family vulnerability;
• increase understanding of factors that enhance resilience in children &families, and
• provide strategies & skills that contribute to ethical collaboration between workers and families.

Target Audience 

This eLearning course is for Community sector professionals including managers, team leaders, individual and peers support workers, caseworkers, counsellors, social workers, community development workers and other practitioners who directly support vulnerable children, individuals, families, and communities.
