Today, on the 16th anniversary of the National Apology Day, we pause to reflect on the significance of acknowledging and reconciling past wrongs. Let us all honour the resilience and strength of the Stolen Generations, and commit ourselves to listening, learning, and working together toward healing and unity.

We also take this opportunity to acknowledge and honour our esteemed board member, Paul Newman. As a proud Wiradjuri, Gadigal, Wailwan, and Kamilaroi nations Elder and Traditional Owner, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the LEAD Professional Development Association Inc. Board.

With over 40 years of experience spanning community, government, and corporate sectors, particularly in Aboriginal affairs, Paul’s expertise is unparalleled. We are honoured to have him as a valuable member of our Board.
