Happy NAIDOC Week! It’s a special time for us to celebrate 65,000 years of vibrant culture and shared history and honour the incredible achievements and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
At LEAD, we recognise and celebrate these achievements year-round, and NAIDOC Week is an especially important moment for us to stand alongside our First Nations Peoples. We invite you to join us at the Warami Mittigar Concert Concert (https://www.blacktown.nsw.gov.au/…/Blacktown-City… ) on Saturday, 13th July. Visit our Elders tent to experience the warmth and wisdom of our community. We’re eager to share our deep commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture with you.
Also, come and connect with us at the Cumberland Community NAIDOC Event (https://www.cumberland.nsw.gov.au/…/cumberland…) on Wednesday, 10th July. See you there!
Let’s make this NAIDOC Week truly special by participating in events that foster understanding and respect. Together, we can strengthen our community bonds.
