Group Supervision – Trauma Focus

LEAD is offering SUPERVISION SESSIONS (11 March 2019 and 08 April 2019) in a group setting with Sue Buratti at our Seven Hills location.
These sessions will be structured to offer support, case studies, skill development and practice reflection in a safe confidential space for anyone who works with children, youth and/or families impacted by trauma.
*As this is a new initiative, we are trialing these two sessions.
- Increased understanding of a trauma informed way of working;
- Increased skills and capability by using a group setting to reflect on the application of trauma informed practice;
- Understand the importance of Reflective Practice in a safe environment where individuals can reflect on their practice in a safe confidential space;
- Increased understanding of Vicarious Trauma.
Who should attend this workshop?
For anyone who works with children, families or individuals impacted by trauma.
Sue is a Child and Family therapist who specialises in working in a trauma informed way with children and their families. She has a Master’s Degree in Counselling and is NMT Certified, with an interest in neurobiology and expressive therapies. Sue is passionate about giving children a voice in therapy and using this to inform her work with the whole family.
She is a clinical Supervisor, Consultant and Trainer for both government, community and the private sectors. Sue has presented both nationally and internationally on topics relating to Childhood trauma and its impacts across the lifespan.
