Are you ever unsure about your responsibilities as a mandatory reporter?
This workshop has the answers!
Join us as we explore the key legislative requirements for identifying and responding to risk relating to child protection.
It is important to acknowledge and recognise your responsibilities as a mandatory reporter when working in Community Services.
This workshop will provide you with the confidence needed to identify child protection risks and knowing when to report them. It is vital that we are the voice for children and young people at risk of harm.
- Increased knowledge of the theoretical framework around the effects of abuse on children and young people;
- Increased knowledge of the legal responsibilities required by NSW law;
- Ability to articulate the steps required to support a child upon hearing disclosure of abuse, and
- Demonstrated ability to critically reflect on information discussed.
Who should attend this workshop?
