Elevating Our Collective Knowledge to Provide the Right Services at the Right Time!
This week LEAD Professional Development Association Inc, Cumberland City Council and Angharad Candlin joined forces to facilitate an enlightening Learning Circle for our committed Community Sector workers in the Cumberland LGA.
As members of the ‘Cumberland Linker Network’, together we unravelled the intricacies of making referrals with the aim to increase our collective capacity to support children, young people and families to get the right services at the right time.
During the session, we delved into various complicated scenarios, identified the critical factors that contribute to successful referrals, and uncovered fresh insights about the resources available in our sector. We also highlighted the ongoing challenges we face in making these referrals truly effective.
Stay tuned! We’re preparing a valuable resource that will capture the wealth of information and knowledge we gathered during this workshop.
By pooling our collective wisdom and experience, we’re on a mission to empower our Community Sector workers in the Cumberland LGA. Together, Cumberland Linker Network members are committed to supporting children, young people and families in accessing the help they need when they need it most.
