Announcing the first of our workshop series!

Unveiling the powerful partnership between LEAD Professional Development and Australian Childhood Foundation, we are excited to announce the first of many carefully designed experiential learning opportunities.

Reinforcing our joint commitment based on the belief that innovation is born out of exploration, our first workshop is “Trauma to Healing… the Transformation Trajectory”, a one-day workshop, to be facilitated by subject matter experts from Australian Childhood Foundation.

This in-person workshop will provide practitioners with an increased understanding of the impact of childhood trauma, the neurobiology of trauma and how it manifests biologically. By using the internationally acclaimed TECA tool, practitioners will learn how to provide therapeutically matched responses that are adaptable to the context of your role. This assessment can be used by ANYONE and provides activities that offer opportunities for relational repair and enrichment.

The workshop also explores the impacts on practitioners working in the context of trauma and provides strategies and insights to support well-being. A model of ongoing reflective practice to embed the learning from the day will be offered post-workshop to all attendees.

Who should attend? Anyone who works directly with or who supports children, young people, families, and communities that have experienced trauma.
